We visited the health care center which gave us an insight on local health care system. Dr.Cathorina showed us around the hospital and explained to us the different types of treatments given to patients .
She told us that in Sweden there are 60% female doctors and 40% male doctors and the patients are treated separately. Some by Nurse and some by the doctors. The journal and the medicines prescribed are recorded in the computer.No medicines are given out without the prescription . She also showed us a lot many things that differ from our health care systems in goa. We had really interesting time exploring the health care system.......

Finally...!!!
As said by Pio, we absolutely didn't have any problem during our journey and the following day.. Yeah.. pretty obvious that we were a bit tired at the end but that was jus bcause of the time gap that we have..
Huh.. ! The First Working Day in Sweden was pretty much nice with the breakfast, followed by a lecture on swedish history by Sir Erik. I Found Swedish History pretty interesting, for the way they developed from one of the poorest countries in Europe in olden days, to a country which we see now.. It's amazing. also it was interesting to know about the different conquests that they had to conquere piece of lands, the economic use of Baltic Sea and so on.. It was nice.
then we moved on to the health care centre where one of the doctors there showed us the entire health centre.
after having our lunch back at the school, we again moved on to a museum, a paper making museum where in earlier times, the currency notes were manually manufactured. there we came to know about the evolution of paper which was something very interesting..
And then back at the school.. Woohooow! The Ghost Ball!! That was seriously awesome! That was a swedish game that we played and had fun... ! n there after we had our dinner wherein we enjoyed the wonderful Apple Pie and the Cheese cake for the desert.. :) We were also given a wonderful token of love, the very famous Swedish wooden Horse with a Swedish Flag Ribbon.. It's truly marvellous.. !!
So, That was the day... Magic Day!!

All our Swedes friends were at the airport to recieve us and they took us to af Chapman Hostel..for rest of the things read our students posts...they are quite excited to share the experiences with you all........

We have reached Sweden and i must say, its awesome...
The temperatures aren´t so bad. the thermals are more than sufficient.
The hotel n other stuff are very good.
We are all being taken care of very well.

3 more days to go !!!
its finally happening !
well we have narrowed down our cultural program to around 78 minutes.....we have a lot of dances and songs and a presentation and many more things lined up for India day.our final costume rehearsals are on Sunday as the little 11th standard's have their exams going on ! poor them !
everyone is in a rush.begging and borrowing costumes and giving those absolutely important final touches to the program !
so fingers crossed
oh! these exams... :-(
just 4 days left for us to go to sweden, and i am still stuck up with these books because of my exams. every time i start studying i find myself staring at the wall and thinking about sweden.kaushik and gretchen must be also going through the same pain!
well, none of us have done badly in the exams...
truely looking forward to finishing with these exams and going to sweden!!!

health ambushers....
today Merel and i came up with our questionnaire to survey and study health and hygiene related matters in Sweden. as mentioned earlier our study will be mostly based on campus related issues. We came up with questions on campus cleanliness, the first aid facilities provided on campus, waste disposal and treatment and safety measures adopted.we have also added questions to study the canteen hygiene. the way the waste is disposed and treated. Besides this, we will observe student cleanliness habits and also washroom hygiene..hopefully we will get a lot of beneficial matter!! :)
