Putting our best fork forward :D

After the very informative talk given by Mrs. Godinho, the teachers and students proceeded to the restaurant for a dinner to tone up our cutlery-handling skills. Although we would have loved to dine together, we were seated in small groups of 4 and 7. The dining ares of the La Paz, The Regacy was such a lovely and elegant place. We were all instructed to order separately, preferably, so as to give us knowledge on restaurant etiquette et al. We started off first with a round of soup and then proceeded towards the main course. There was a mild confusion on what to order seeing the fancy names but we did quite well i must say (fellow students, pat your backs :D)

Chicken sizzler seemed to be a favourite at the table i was seated at. And when it arrived, all sizzling and smoking, i did had second thoughts about my order....which ofcoursed vanished as soon as i tucked into my deliciously delicious Chicken Biryani.

Then came the time for dessert. Mrs. Godinho took the initiative and ordered ice-cream for those who wished to have it. A finger-bowl wash and some post-dinner digestive 'khaddi sahkar' and we were off on our way back home.

I would like to especially thank Mr. Umaji Chowgule and our ever understanding teachers for providing us this opportunity. Thank you all so so much.

  1. This is bizarre, I wasn't even there, and I get thanked for something I had nothing do with. Now don't get me wrong, i like the attention as much as the next guy, but to give me credit for something like this is crazy.

Anyway I am glad you enjoyed your dinner. Personally I think La Paz makes a very good chicken biryani.

What I am keen to know is how did Mrs. Godinho help you with this experience. Please don't send me platitudes, I am sure she was good and helpful, but in detail what did she add to your restaurant experience that you didn't know earlier.

  4. Dear Sir

To you,I am and will always remain a student of your prestigious college...I'm a queen only to these bunch of clowns (i luv u guys..:*).
Mrs. Godinho explained to us the minuatee of cutlery and crockery handling, restaurant manners and treatment of waiters and she also let us serve ourselves straight out of the dishes, instead of the stewards doing it, coz that's the way its done in Sweden.

    most respectfully
