Our days begin..........

Well today our day started with a talk by Erik who spoke about Sweden and different parts of it, and the kings and the vikings who ruled Sweden over the years. He gave us quite an amount of interesting facts about the historical aspect of their history. He explained to us about the different groups which were prevalent in Sweden for example the nobility, church, artisans and peasants. It truly broadened our knowledge about the European history, especially Swedish culture.

Our second part of the cultural aspect was the visit to Tumba Bruk which is a printing press which is now a museum, where they initially used to print money notes . This was done by hand and required high expertise. However in due course of time this has reduced and the printing of notes of money over here has been now shifted to the use of machinery. We were even demonstrated the methods of making handmade paper. We thoroughly enjoyed it and I am sure all of us learnt a lot from it.

At the end of it we had a typical Swedish dinner at the Tullinge Gymnasium which comprised of varieties of bread, a type of cheese, fish including salmon and herring, chicken and a lot more. We all had a wonderful time along with the 12 of the Swedish students along with their teachers. It really gave us a chance to bring back the bonds that were made in India among us all.

We back at our hostel and enjoying our time out here. The view out is totally mesmerizing. Well I can go on writing but unfortunately its already 11.45 p.m now so gotta go to bed as we got to start our day tomorrow at 7.oo am. Bye for now. Take care.
